Current Favourites November 2013!

Hi lovelies,

It feels like forever since I've done a favourites post so I have lots to share with you: new and old discoveries!

Since I have more than a few products I've split it in to a couple of sections, I haven't included any skincare as I plan to do a detailed skincare post very soon!

First up; Makeup!

L-R

Soap and Glory muther pucker gloss sticks in shades Plum Jam (red-plum) and Raplumzel (purple-plum)
Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream in light/oily skin
Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer in Naked 1
Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky
Nars Blush in Douceur

The gloss sticks are easy to apply, light and moisturising, the BB cream is great on its own for barely there makeup days or mixed with my Clarins Ever Matte for everY day, the brightening concealer has become a favourite for natural under eye coverage, I'm loving this new shade of my favourite Work the Colour eyeshadow pencil which works well on it's own, as a base or in the inner corner (see full post here) and Nars Douceur is the perfect every day blush that is slightly sculpting!

Body, Hair and Nails!

L-R

Body Shop Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt
Schwarzkopf got2b Oil-liscious Tame and Shine oil (with argan oil)
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray
OPI nail polish in Skull and Glossbones (elephant grey)
Barry M Matte nail paint in Vanilla (pastel taupe? - looks more nude above)

This bath melt smells amazing, it has the same consistency as royal jelly (if anyone remembers that!) so I find it easiest to scoop some out than pour, the oil was actually my mums which I tried when I was wearing my hair naturally in the summer (which is waves, in winter it's straight with kinks) and I needed something to take the frizz away, I use the smallest amount of this through the ends when I blow dry which is really helpful. I've been using the BB thickening hairspray to give some volume to my roots, when it works its awesome, but it doesn't always (which is weird, right?!) Also, I wouldn't really recommend it due to the price (I'm not even sure I'll repurchase a full size - aren't the BB prices ridiculous??). The nail colours are my A/W alternatives, I don't like nudes and I wear berries all year round, definitely going to pick up THAT Essie navy shade though! Also, Barry M have really got this shade name so wrong!

Lastly some randoms!

I know I'm so lately on the bandwagon but I just recently started reading the Dexter books, this is book 2 and I'm now on book 3 which I'm not really looking forward to because it gets the worst reviews out the series. The books keep me reading but I find them really different to the few episodes I seen on TV!

Lastly, I had written off Primark scented candles long ago due to never having enough scent/good scent throw but I picked these (passionfruit and lychee) up for the flat as the colours matched my living room and they are amazing! Two of these little guys fill up the entire room, I'm highly impressed, and just hoping it's not a one-off!

So that's my current favourites. Is there anything you fancy getting or do I love something you loathe? Let me know below.

PS.

IT'S CHRISTMAS SOON!!!!
