Lush Halloween/Autumn Haul 2016!

Hello lovelies,

So today I thought I'd show the items I purchased from the Lush Halloween/Autumn collection.

I was super glad to see they've expanded this a bit - lots to pick from!

Today is all about the bath bombs (imagine that!)

I picked up:
Lord of Misrule

This is one of my all time favourite bath bombs. I love how it's one of the only Lush bath bombs to ever go a really dark spooky colour.
It smells incredible - apparently it's vanilla, patchouli and black pepper oil but I'm convinced I get a something fruity in the scent - even though there are no fruity ingredients! Could always be the sweetness of the vanilla.
ANYWAY I love it so much I bought two, which is pretty rare for me! It was also the first one I used from this haul, check it in action on Smoking Peaches instagram

OK so you guys may not know this, but I absolutely LOVE Monster's Inc. So I was so excited to see this little guy.
I can't wait to see these colours go to work! It has a citrusy scent which y'all know by now I love! Look out for him on instagram!

I generally don't like orange shades in the bath, but I couldn't resist this cute little guy.
I couldn't wait to smell it and I wasn't disappointed. It has that cinnamon kick that reminds you that IT IS AUTUMN AND CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Might save him for when the trees have fully turned and there is a proper nip in the air!

Autumn Leaf

I was really excited at the prospect at this, but I have to admit I was a little disappointed at the shades on this. I think some darker oranges/yellows/reds would have been better; like a true autumn leaf.
My guess is this is because of the colour the water would have went so I'm not complaining too much. I get what they were going for!
This smells really good, but not particularly unique. Although I do usually find the ones I'm less enamored with in the box are the ones that surprise me (Avobath for example).

As you might have noticed, I decided to pick bath bombs only. I normally would have got one or two other products, but I'm not keen on the oily bath melts, and I got the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar last year and I really didn't enjoy it. The glitter was pretty much surface level only and went everywhere, I don't really like orange in the bath (as I mentioned above), particularly when it's kinda murky which this was and it dried it super quickly too.
I very rarely pick up the shower gels (as much as I would LOVE Lord of Misrule shower gel!) because I think they are pretty pricey. My family tend to always buy me Lush at my birthday (December) and Christmas and I always end up with a bottle or two then. And you can forget about soaps and shimmer bars!

What do you fancy from the Autumn/Halloween collection? Picked up any bits so far? More importantly though, what are you looking forward to from the Christmas collection???
